HUMAN EXPENDITURE PROGRAM is the follow-up commonly called BLOODMONEY 2. Harvey Harvington now lives inside a computer program, and the player has direct control over his daily care. You can feed him, pet him, play with him and earn money while doing it.
That virtual-pet setup is not as harmless as it sounds. The story remembers the earlier treatment of Harvey and keeps returning to questions of ownership, memory and responsibility. The cheerful sales pitch and small activities sit beside psychological horror and fourth-wall tension.
A complete run includes five minigames and leads to one of two endings. The original release lists an average session of about half an hour and supports both mouse and keyboard input. It also carries a clear flashing-lights warning for photosensitive players.
